How To Change The Settings To Remedy This Problem
There are a few different remedies listed below.

Verify that you can connect to a secure site:
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Click Privacy Control.
- If using Norton Internet Security , Norton Internet Security Professional, or Norton Personal Firewall 2003 or 2004, click Configure. Otherwise, proceed to step 4.
- Click Custom Level.
- Make sure that the option Enable Secure Connection is checked.
- Click OK and OK again.
- Close your browser.
- Close Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Open your browser and try to connect.

To check your confidential information protection:
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Click Privacy Control.
- If using Norton Internet Security 2003, Norton Internet Security Professional 2003, or Norton Personal Firewall 2003, click Configure. Otherwise, proceed to step 4.
- Click Custom Level.
- Examine the setting for Confidential or Private Information. If it is set to High, change the setting to Medium.
- Click OK and OK again.
- Close Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Return to the secure site and try to log on again. If you are prompted to allow Confidential information to go out, click OK.
- If you can log on, you know that Confidential information blocking was preventing the logon. Leave the Confidential Information setting in Privacy section at Prompt.

The Intrusion Detection feature of Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall recognizes some functions in the NorthStarMLS.com site as suspicious traffic and blocks those functions. To permit those functions, add the URL_Directory_Traversal entry to the Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall signature exclusions list.
To add an entry to the signature exclusions lis:
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Click Status & Settings.
- Double-click Intrusion Detection. You see the Intrusion Detection window.
- Click Signatures. You see the Intrusions Detection Signature Exclusions window.
- Find and click the entry URL_Directory_Traversal in the Signatures box.
- Click Exclude. Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall moves the URL_Directory_Transversal entry from the Signatures list to the Exclusions list.
- Click OK, and then click OK again.
- Close Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
